This is the east part of Ensenada de San Miguel and the Almerimar tourist complex. It’s a regenerated beach with all the services and facilities, as well as a splendid seafront esplanade. Getting there and finding a place to park is easy. Next to the beach is the Almerimar Sporting Port, an extremely attractive dock with all types of nautical services. To the east begins the Natural Beauty Spot Punta Entinas-Sabinar, of great environmental importance and consequently a recommended spot for walkers.

A spacious urban beach, boasting all the necessary tourist services and facilities. Ideal for water sports, for those who love hustle and bustle, beach bars and any general recreation and leisure activities. Located next to the Roquetas de Mar Urbanisation, a residential development designed for relaxation and leisure in all its dimensions. It’s easy to get there on the A-391 motorway, there’s a parking area, disabled access, a beautiful waterfront esplanade, etc. Due to the open nature of the coastline, all visitors must take special care with the tides and waves.

An open, expansive beach belonging to Punta Entinas-Sabinar Nature Spot. It’s easy to get there by car along a dirt road, and there are parking spaces set out there. It’s recommended that this spectacular protected area be explored on foot, always following the rules for safety and taking care of the area. It’s simply ideal for lovers of peace and tranquillity, and, of course, nature. There are no services there apart from the basics in cleaning and surveillance. Due to the open nature of the coast, it’s important to take care with the waves. The sea bed is colonised by Posidonia oceanica, making it great for divers.

A very large beach, more than 6 kms. Long, which belongs to the Punta Entinas-Sabinar Beauty Spot, one of the most outstanding places on the Almerian coast. It’s a spectacular, low coastline with fantastic botanical, animal and landscape treasures, as well as being a magnificent example of coastal geomorphology and sediment. It’s ideal for nature lovers and those who love open spaces and peace and quiet. Easy to get to by car, there’s parking sign-posted there. There are no services there apart from the basics in hygiene and surveillance. You get to the beach by following the sign-posted pedestrian paths. It’s recommended that any excursions be undertaken following the environmental instructions established within the area. Be careful with the waves.
Distance from Bahia del Golf: 9,7 Km - 17 minutes by car
Located in Ensenada de San Miguel, in one of the most important tourist complexes in Almeria, this has all types of services and facilities, a waterfront esplanade, beach bars, water sports facilities to hire, etc. Moving inland you can still see the dunes and the ancient Guardias Viejas Salt Flats. Although mainly dried out today, they are a testament to the enormous environmental value this area had, though it still has a wide lagoon which is the centre of interest in this urbanisation. A visit to Almerimar is recommended, a residential centre with all types of services and, above all, a sporting port which is one of the most attractive in Andalusia. Ideal for water sports.
Distance from Bahia del Golf: 0,5 Km - 5 minutes by car
A scarcely built-on stretch of coast with a wide, sand and shingle beach, it’s easy to get there on the coastal ALP-9036 that crosses the area, and it’s easy to park. There are some services here and it’s not much used in summer. A visit to the Guardias Viejas Castle is recommended; an XVIII century defensive fortress, which dominates the, Los Baños Cove from a rocky promontory.

A rural beach half way between Balerma and the Almerimar tourist complex. The wide, straight beach is 3 kms long and has a few services available. It’s ideal for those who enjoy wide-open spaces and peace and quiet. Easy to get to via the local motorway ALP-9036 and parking isn’t a problem. This stretch of coast is very open, with frequent winds and waves.

A large, urban beach which narrows beside the neighbourhood which gives it its name. There are a good number of services and facilities, a waterfront esplanade and disabled access, parking, etc. It’s easy to reach on the ALP-9036. Because it’s next to the urban centre of Balerma, it has all of the services and shops which this old fishing village has to offer. The wide range of tapas and other local dishes is recommended: especially the fish, which can be found in all of the beach bars and restaurants in the area.
